University Joseph Fournier Grenoble 1 (UJF)

University Joseph Fourier Grenoble 1 (UJF) is located in the middle of the Rhône-Alpes region, 2nd French region in terms of research activities.

UJF Grenoble is a research intensive university in an international and high tech environment:

- 16 800 full time students, excluding doctoral students;
- 1 500 lecturers and researchers and 1 400 administrative and technical staff;
- 50 laboratories organised in four core areas: Mathematics-Information sciences-Technologies-Communication; Chemistry-Life sciences-Health-Biotechnologies; Material sciences-Nanosciences-Engineering - Earth-Universe-Environment; Humanities;
